Anti-idiotypic antibodies

Anti-idiotypic antibodies

Anti-idiotypic antibody (anti-ID Ab) is an antibody that specifically binds to the unique part of another antibody, often a drug antibody. The anti-ID Ab could be either polyclonal or monoclonal and they are typically used in pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity assays (ADA-assays).

Anti-Id’s can be non-blocking, specific to drug-target complex or blocking.
Non-blocking anti-Id’s bind to the drug independently of target is present or not while the complex specific anti-ID only bind to the drug when bound to it’s target. The blocking antibody is hindering the target to bind.

Our experienced team will help you develop the anti-ID antibodies suitable for your downstream applications with tailored solutions and full support from antigen design to final antibody production. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
